For well over 40 years, as a Community Development Guru (Subject Matter Expert) I have taken an entrepreneurial approach to community development. I have partnered with local residents and key community stakeholders to help address existing community challenges and needs of all types. Below is just a sampling of organizations and institutions I have contracted with or have been assigned by Federal agencies to assist local agencies in reimagining communities.

We Are Better Together
Providing technical assistance to We Are Better Together Warren Daniel Hairston Project. Positioning the Community Based Organization to apply for Federal, State, and local funding.

Ainger Place Development Coorporation
Provide Subject matter expertise on the relocation of impacted residents under the Federal Relocation guidelines. Also work to increase its organizational capacity, while positioning the CDC to apply for Federal, State, and local funding.

HUD
Washington, DC
Under a HUD multi-year subcontract provided Technical Assistance Consulting as an Expeditor for HUD's Federally-funded mixed-income revitalization project in over 30 cities throughout the United States.

Tampa Housing Authority
Provided Technical Assistance to the Tampa Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded mixed-income HOPE VI revitalization project.

Boston Black News
Providing technical assistance to Boston Black News. Positioned the Community based Radio & TV network to apply for Federal, State, and local funding.

Buffalo Housing Authority
Provided technical Assistance to the Buffalo Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded mixed-income revitalization project.

Housing Authority
of Winston-Salem
Provided Technical Assistance consulting to the Housing Authority of Winston-Salem regarding the implementation of 2 of its Federally-funded mixed-income revitalization HOPE VI projects. I also provided technical assistance to the Housing Authority of Winston-Salem to successfully receive a $200,000 Neighborhood Networks Grant award from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Seattle Housing Authority
Provided Technical Assistance to the Seattle Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded section 8 programs.

Sickle Cell Foundation
Providing technical assistance to Sickle Cell Foundation. Positioning the Community Based Organization to apply for Federal, State, and local funding.

Urban Institute
Under a HUD multi-year contract provided oversite regarding a 10-year longitudinal study of the implementation of the HUD Federally-funded mixed-income revitalization project. Under contract with Aspen Systems.

Orlando Housing Authority
Provided Technical Assistance to the Orlando Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded mixed-income HOPE VI revitalization project.

North American Management
Under a HUD multi-year sub-contract provided Technical Assistance to over 10 Public Housing agencies regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded section 8 programs.

Rensselaer Housing Authority
Provided Technical Assistance to the Rensselaer Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded section 8 programs.

Housing Authority of New Orleans
Provided Technical Assistance to the New Orleans Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded mixed-income HOPE VI revitalization project.

Lockheed Martin
Under a HUD multi-year contract provided Management and Technical Assistance to over 40 Public Housing agencies regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded mixed-income revitalization projects. Also responsible for successfully writing 5 million dollar multi year RFP response and implementation of HUD's Neighborhood Networks initiative.

New Beginnings Reentry Services
Providing technical assistance to New Beginnings Reentry Services. Positioning the Community Based Organization to apply for Federal, State, and local funding. Successfully assisted the organization in raising over $1,000,000 in new funding.

Greene County Metro Housing Authority
Provided Technical Assistance to the Greene County Metro Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded section 8 programs.

DC Housing Authority
Provided technical assistance to the District of Columbia Housing Authority, Resident Services Department regarding Federal, community, and supportive services grants with HUD and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa
Provided Technical Assistance to the New Orleans Housing Authority regarding the implementation of its Federally-funded mixed-income HOPE VI revitalization project.

Howard University
Provided technical assistance to Howard University's Center for Sickle Cell Disease regarding the implementation of its Annual Sickle Cell Walk. Also provided assistance to position the center to apply for additional Federal, State, and local funding.
