I worked with Leon Nathaniel Rock at Lockheed Martin/Aspen Systems while he served as Project Director. I found Rock to be a seasoned manager, an experienced project administrator, an active listener, and a strategic project planner. As the Project Director of the Community Technology Project, he was someone willing to work closely with his team to help with many of the day-to-day needs of the project. He is a person who is adept at working and coordinating with a variety of departments and disciplines. I have followed his work from the private sector and into the public sector, I know he is well respected for his work with public housing agencies and the Federal government.

He served as a Grant Writer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding implementation of our HOPE VI CSS and our NNC Community Technology Initiative. Rock wrote a HUD funded grant for our HOPE VI Neighborhood Networks (Community Technology initiative which totaled $200,000. Rock has worked directly with the WCHA regarding the implementation of our Neighborhood Networks (community technology initiative) once it was funded. He successfully assisted WCHA in establishing community technology center sub-contract requirements and general organizational policies and procedures.
Rock is truly a Housing and Community Development professional. Members of the Winnebago Housing community found Rock to be a highly competent with strong leadership and organizational skills.
